Welcome to the initial entry in our adoption law blog! The goal of this blog to help shed some light on the often complicated field of adoption law, as well as to maintain a dialogue with those interested in adoption, those currently adopting, those who have adopted in the past, friends, colleagues, attorneys, and others interested in the practice of adoption law. By maintaining a dialogue among these groups and by keeping you updated via blog posts on the current status of the law on adoption, I hope this blog will serve as an important resource for those involved in the area of adoption. Please note, however, that this blog, all future blogs, and any comments made by either the blog’s author or third-parties are not intended as legal advice.
Blog postings, which will always be authored by an attorney, will include short summaries of a particular aspect of adoption law, thoughts on recent court decisions, links to pertinent articles, updates on any changes to the law, news within our firm, and specific issues I have dealt with throughout my 27 years of practice. Suggestions for postings are welcome as well. Please also feel free to follow us on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Law-Offices-of-Jeanne-T-Tate-PA/114411385238660 and follow Jeanne on Twitter at http://twitter.com/#!/jeannettate. Thanks for reading and I look forward to hearing your thoughts & reading your comments!
